In collaboration with regional stakeholders and based on the regional context, new transfer formats in healthcare and regional development are derived.
Within the T!Raum One Health Region Vorpommern initiative, RegioTransformOH is a research project conducted by the Chair of General Business Administration and Health Management and the Chair of Economic and Social Geography at the University of Greifswald.
The task of RegioTransformOH is to conduct strategic research for the One Health Region Vorpommern. To this end, needs, drivers and barriers for One Health approaches in the region are identified. The One Health concept is based on the assumption that the health of humans, animals and the environment is interrelated, and that interdisciplinary approaches are therefore required to address health challenges.
To further develop Vorpommern into a One Health region, regional actors are involved through various survey formats. In collaboration with regional stakeholders and based on the regional context, new transfer formats in healthcare and regional development are derived.
The overall objective is the development of a sustainable, regionally grounded One Health strategy. This strategy for a One Health region is intended to be developed as a transferable concept for other One Health regions.
