Initiative spokesperson

Prof. Dr. Steffen Fleßa

Prof. Dr. Steffen Fleßa holds the Chair of General Business Administration and Health Management at the University of Greifswald and is spokesperson for the T!Raum One-Health-Region Vorpommern initiative.
He sees health as an overarching task for healthcare, politics, business and society: "The farmer who decides in favour of a certain form of land use should also consider the effects of his decision on the health of people and animals. The hotelier who plans his breakfast should also have the health of his guests in mind. And, of course, the politician who decides on road construction, for example, should take the health of nature and people into account."
